              Alvin Ng is the General Manager of  GE Digital, South East Asia. GE Digital's largest and highest growth region in APAC.

He is chartered to lead GE Digital’s industrial software solutions and services that bring together brilliant machines, data, insights, and people to drive real-time connectivity and data intelligence through a digital thread. 

He has over 15 years experience in sales management, business and market development, and has held a series of global leadership roles. Three of those years were spent in Europe.

Before joining GE Digital, Alvin Ng was the Regional Vice President, Banking Products & Solutions, for Wincor Nixdorf.  He leads the Software Business Unit for Asia Pacific & Japan and have the overall P&L responsibility of US$100m for sales, consulting and professional services.  He also sits in Wincor’s Banking Division Board, overseeing the growth strategy of the Global Emerging Markets with deep focus on Brazil, Russia, India, China, Indonesia and Mexico.

Alvin began his leadership journey in Cisco Systems. He joined Cisco in 2001 and was instrumental in building the Global Enterprise Sales team in the region for Cisco and helped the global enterprise business achieve double digit year on year growth in the 12 years in the company. His last role at Cisco was the Managing Director of Cisco Systems Global Enterprise Sales with responsibility over Cisco Systems’ largest Global Enterprise customers generating over $350M worth of revenue for Cisco. 

Alvin is certified Solution-Focused Coach (CCPC Global) and qualified Professional Certified Coach (PCC-ICF), he applies insights using assessment technology, appreciative inquiry, action learning, coaching and blended learning to help leaders expand their personal performance and organizational capabilities.

Responsibilities • Overall commercial leadership of GE Digital’s US$150m Business in Asean / South East Asia • As a senior leader of GE Asean leadership team, was tasked to lead GE’s partnership with governments in Asean to build in-country IOT Digital Economy and to drive economic growth through Industrial Internet of Things and Industrial 4.0. • Lead the overall GE Digital leadership team that drives GE’s platform and software business: applications (APM, Brilliant Manufacturing, Automation, Cyber), platform and analytics (Predix) sales and go to market strategies into Power, Oil & Gas, Aviation, Transport, Healthcare, Smart Cities, Manufacturing and Agriculture sectors.
